To participate you must provide an enrichment activity once school is out for the day and serve a minimum of 25 children per day

Zero, Nada, FREE. You don’t pay for anything. The program is funded through the Department of Agriculture.

Depending on the number of meals per day you need, the food will be delivered daily or 3 times a week to your site

Food must be maintained and served at proper temperatures. Your organization must have equipment to keep the food at the proper holding and serving temperature. If you don’t have a heating source, we may be able to loan you a warmer. Ask for details.

Greater Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino, Orange, San Diego, Ventura and Fresno counties.

Meals are provided for children 18 and younger and persons over 18 who are disabled who participate in programs for people who are disabled.

Yes, the program is not income based.

We serve a whole grain, milk, vegetables, fruit, and meat or meat alternate for supper. Snacks consist of 2 of the previously listed components

Meals can be served in any order that best fit the needs of your program. There must be 2 hours between each meal. For example, you can serve snack at 2pm and supper at 4pm or supper at 2:30pm and snack at 5:00 pm.

Yes, we train all sites before service begins to make sure that your site stays compliant.

Yes, you must have a health permit and fire inspection on file. We will contact the appropriate departments if you do not already have a fire/health inspection.
